Helios Fans HRFD 500÷4÷4

The Helios HRFD 500÷4÷4 is a high-performance axial fan designed for demanding ducted ventilation systems, offering the flexibility of dual-speed operation via star/​delta switching. Housed within a cylindrical duct made from galvanised sheet steel, the unit includes standardized flanges on both ends, conforming to DIN 24155 for easy installation. A conveniently positioned terminal box is located on the outer casing for electrical access.

The fan incorporates a dynamically balanced, aerodynamically profiled impeller made from durable polymer materials, ensuring optimal airflow efficiency and quiet operation. Designed for use in ambient temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +60°C, the HRFD 500÷4÷4 provides reliable performance in varied operating conditions.

At its core is a totally enclosed 3‑phase squirrel cage motor configured for 2‑speed operation using star/​delta switching. This allows adaptable airflow control based on system demand. The motor is maintenance-free and equipped with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings, ensuring long service life and quiet performance.
