Helios Fans HRFD 355/2 Ex

The Helios HRFD 355/2 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan engineered for safe operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. Certified to ATEX standards, this fan is ideal for use in hazardous environments where strict safety and performance are required.

Constructed with a cylindrical casing made of galvanized steel, the unit includes standardized flanges at both ends compliant with DIN 24155, allowing for secure installation in duct systems. An external terminal box provides easy access for wiring connections.

The axial impeller is made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymer and features a five-blade design optimized for efficiency and low noise. It is dynamically balanced to Class G 6.3 per DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 standards, ensuring smooth and reliable performance. The impeller is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C and has an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm for ATEX compliance.

Power is provided by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor. The motor is non-controllable (fixed speed) and incorporates sealed-for-life ball bearings to ensure silent, reliable operation over long periods. The HRFD 355/2 Ex delivers powerful ventilation in zones requiring explosion protection without compromising on efficiency or durability.
