Helios Fans HRFD 315/4 Ex

The Helios HRFD 315/4 Ex is a robust explosion-proof axial fan designed for use in hazardous environments and certified according to ATEX standards. It features a galvanised sheet steel cylindrical duct with flanges on both ends, complying with DIN 24155 dimensions and flange fixing requirements. The fan’s terminal box is conveniently positioned on the outer casing.

Equipped with a highly efficient, 7‑blade profiled impeller made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, the impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. The fan operates safely in temperature ranges from ‑30°C to +40°C, with an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm to prevent static build-up.

Powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings, the motor is designed for durability and quiet operation. The unit is non-controllable and fully compliant with explosion protection requirements for hazardous areas.
