The Helios HRFD 315/2 Ex is a robust explosion-proof axial fan designed for hazardous environments, complying with ATEX regulations. It features a cylindrical duct constructed from galvanised sheet steel, equipped with flanges on both ends for easy mounting according to DIN 24155.
The fan incorporates a high-efficiency, 7‑blade profiled impeller made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers. This impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 standards, ensuring smooth operation and durability. It is suitable for temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C, with an electrical resistance under 1 Ohm for safety in explosive atmospheres.
Powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise sealed-for-life ball bearings, this fan operates reliably without speed control, prioritizing safety and efficiency in hazardous applications.
