The Helios HRFD 250/2 Ex is an explosion-proof axial duct fan designed to meet ATEX standards, making it suitable for hazardous environments. The fan features a cylindrical duct made of galvanised sheet steel with flanges on both ends, adhering to DIN 24155 dimensions and flange fixing holes for easy installation.
Equipped with a highly efficient, seven-blade profiled impeller manufactured from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, the fan is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 for smooth and reliable operation. The impeller is suitable for operating temperatures between ‑30°C and +40°C and has an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm to prevent static buildup.
The unit is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor featuring low-noise sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is non-controllable and built specifically for explosion-proof applications in compliance with ATEX certification, ensuring safe and dependable performance in demanding industrial settings.
