The Helios HQD 710/8 Ex is a square plate high-efficiency axial fan equipped with an inlet cone and a fixed pitch impeller at standstill, directly driven and explosion proof according to ATEX certification. The mounting plate is made from galvanised sheet steel with a drawn bell mouth inlet for optimized airflow.
This fan features a high-performance impeller with 7 blades, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 standards, crafted from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers. It is suitable for operation within temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C and maintains an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm for safety in hazardous environments.
The motor is a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage type with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings, running at a fixed speed with no controllability. This explosion-proof design ensures reliable ventilation performance in potentially explosive atmospheres.
