The Helios HQD 710/8 Ex is a medium-pressure, explosion-proof axial fan built for hazardous industrial environments where the presence of flammable gases or dust requires ATEX-certified equipment. Designed for Zone 1 applications, this model features a 710mm galvanized steel casing with flanged ends according to DIN 24155 Part 3, ensuring safe integration into ducted systems.

The fan is equipped with a direct-drive, 3‑phase 8‑pole flameproof motor, delivering low-speed operation for quiet and steady airflow. Its construction is suitable for applications where ignition protection is critical, including chemical processing plants, fuel storage facilities, and hazardous material zones.

The aerodynamically designed impeller provides stable and efficient airflow with minimal vibration, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 (class 6.3).
