The Helios HQD 710/8 is a square plate high-efficiency axial fan designed with an inlet cone and a fixed pitch angle impeller, directly driven and certified explosion proof according to ATEX standards. The fan includes a durable square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet constructed from galvanised sheet steel.
Its high-performance impeller has 7 blades, manufactured from impact-resistant anti-static polymers and dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 for smooth, efficient operation. Suitable for temperatures between ‑30°C and +40°C, the impeller ensures reliable airflow with electrical resistance below 1 Ohm for safety in hazardous areas.
Powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise sealed-for-life ball bearings, this fan operates at a fixed speed without controllability. The explosion-proof design makes it ideal for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, ensuring safety and dependable ventilation performance.
