Helios Fans HQD 630/4 Ex

The Helios HQD 630/4 Ex is a medium-pressure axial fan specifically designed for hazardous environments requiring explosion protection. Featuring a 630mm galvanized steel cylindrical casing with flanges per DIN 24155 Part 3, it integrates securely into ducted ventilation systems.

Equipped with a flameproof 4‑pole motor compliant with ATEX directives, this fan provides safe operation in explosive atmospheres, such as chemical plants, paint booths, and other classified zones. The direct-drive motor ensures robust and efficient airflow with reduced rotational speed compared to 2‑pole motors, resulting in quieter operation.

The fan’s antistatic, aerodynamically optimized impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 (class 6.3), minimizing vibration and maximizing durability.
