The Helios HQD 630/4 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan featuring a square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet, made from galvanised sheet-steel for durability. It is directly driven and designed specifically for hazardous areas, meeting ATEX explosion proof standards.
Equipped with a 7‑blade, profiled impeller manufactured from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, the fan is dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 Class 6.3 standards. It is suitable for temperature ranges from ‑30°C to +40°C and has an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm, enhancing safety in explosive atmospheres.
The motor is a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage type with low noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. It is not controllable but ensures reliable, long-lasting operation in demanding industrial environments requiring explosion proof equipment.
