The Helios HQD 560/6 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan designed specifically for hazardous environments, compliant with ATEX explosion proof standards. It features a square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet made from durable galvanized sheet steel.
This model includes a highly efficient, 7‑blade profiled impeller constructed from impact-resistant anti-static polymers, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 standards. The impeller is suitable for operation between ‑30°C and +40°C and offers an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm to prevent static build-up.
Powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings, the fan operates reliably without speed control. The entire unit is engineered to meet stringent ATEX explosion-proof requirements, ensuring safe performance in potentially explosive atmospheres.
