The Helios HQD 450/6 is a robust and efficient axial fan designed for a variety of industrial ventilation needs. It features a square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet and a duct, all constructed from galvanized sheet steel and finished with two coats of protective paint for enhanced durability.
Its high-performance impeller is made from durable polymers and is aerodynamically profiled and dynamically balanced for optimal airflow and low vibration. The fan operates effectively in ambient temperatures between ‑30 °C and +60 °C.
The HQD 450/6 is powered by a totally enclosed 3‑phase squirrel cage motor equipped with built-in thermal contacts. The motor is maintenance-free, features sealed-for-life ball bearings for quiet operation, and supports speed control via voltage reduction — providing both efficiency and flexibility in various ventilation applications.
