The Helios HQD 355/4 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan built for use in hazardous areas and compliant with ATEX explosion-proof standards. It features a square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet constructed from galvanized sheet steel, providing durability and corrosion resistance.
Equipped with a 5‑blade axial impeller made from impact-resistant polymer, this fan delivers efficient airflow and is dynamically balanced to Class G 6.3 in accordance with VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards. The impeller is suitable for temperatures between ‑30°C and +40°C and has an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm, ensuring safety in explosive atmospheres.
The fan is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is non-speed controllable and designed for explosion-proof operation, making the HQD 355/4 Ex ideal for reliable ventilation in ATEX-regulated industrial settings.
