The Helios HQD 315/6 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan designed for hazardous areas, constructed to meet ATEX explosion-proof certification. It features a square mounting plate with a drawn bell mouth inlet made of galvanized sheet steel for strength and corrosion resistance.
This model includes a 7‑blade impeller manufactured from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, dynamically balanced to meet DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 standards, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. The fan is suitable for ambient temperatures from ‑30°C to +40°C and has an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm for safety.
The fan is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with sealed-for-life, low-noise ball bearings. The motor is not speed-controllable and is designed specifically for explosion-proof operation, making the HQD 315/6 Ex ideal for safe ventilation in ATEX-regulated industrial environments.
