The Helios HQD 315/2 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan designed for use in explosive or hazardous environments, built in compliance with ATEX explosion-proof standards. It features a square mounting plate and an integrated inlet cone made from galvanized sheet steel for structural strength and long-lasting performance.
The fan incorporates a 7‑blade impeller made of impact-resistant, anti-static polymer, engineered for efficient airflow. The impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 specifications, ensuring reliable and vibration-free operation. It is designed to perform in ambient temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C and has an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm.
Powered by a totally enclosed 3‑phase squirrel cage motor, the HQD 315/2 Ex is maintenance-free and features sealed-for-life, low-noise ball bearings. The motor is not speed-controllable and is specifically constructed for explosion-proof applications, making this fan an ideal solution for safe ventilation in ATEX-regulated industrial zones.
