Helios Fans HQD 250/4 Ex

The Helios HQD 250/4 Ex is a high-efficiency axial fan built for use in hazardous environments, featuring ATEX-certified explosion-proof construction. This model includes a square mounting plate with an integrated inlet cone, all made from robust galvanized sheet steel.

At the core of the unit is a 7‑blade impeller made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymer materials, designed for high aerodynamic performance. The impeller is dynamically balanced to meet DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3 standards, providing smooth and reliable operation. It is suitable for temperature ranges between ‑30°C and +40°C, with electrical resistance below 1 Ohm to meet safety requirements.

Powering the fan is a totally enclosed, 3‑phase squirrel cage motor, which is maintenance-free and equipped with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. This motor is not speed controllable and is specifically designed for explosion-proof applications under ATEX standards, making the HQD 250/4 Ex a reliable solution for industrial environments requiring strict safety compliance.
