The Helios GBW EC 315 is an energy-saving cubic ventilation unit designed for efficient air intake and extraction. It features flexible sleeves on the spigots to minimize vibration transmission and adaptable side panels to accommodate various structural setups. Easy installation is facilitated by standard crane hooks.
Its robust, self-supporting frame is constructed from aluminium hollow sections, combined with double-walled 20 mm thick galvanised sheet steel panels. These panels are lined with non-combustible mineral wool to provide excellent sound and thermal insulation. The enclosure panels are interchangeable and compatible with accessories like weather louvres and condensate trays. Additional options include wall brackets and weather protection roofs that can be mounted inside or outside, depending on installation needs.
The fan incorporates a high-performance centrifugal impeller with backward curved plastic blades, directly driven for reliable airflow. Dynamic balancing of the impeller and motor ensures smooth, vibration-free operation compliant with quality level 6.3 per DIN ISO 1940 T.1 standards.
Powering the unit is a maintenance-free, energy-efficient EC external rotor motor with IP54 protection and maximum efficiency. This motor is ball bearing mounted and designed to operate free of radio interference. Integrated electronic temperature monitoring protects the motor and control electronics.
Speed adjustments are easily made via a built-in internal potentiometer, allowing stepless control between minimum and maximum fan speeds. Additional options include external potentiometer control or integration with the universal EUR-EC control system. Electrical connections are made through a standard IP54 terminal box on an extended cable for convenient setup.
The Helios GBW EC 315 offers a flexible, quiet, and efficient ventilation solution ideal for commercial and industrial applications requiring reliable airflow and low vibration.
