The Helios ELS-GUBR is a flush-mounted casing designed with a flat profile and integrated fire protection encasement, including a fire protection shutter rated K90 (18017). It is intended for installation of ELS fan units in shafts, plasterboard systems, walls, or ceilings that require fire protection classification.
The casing features a metal discharge spigot (DN 80 mm) positioned at the back, equipped with a maintenance-free, airtight backdraught shutter made from durable stainless steel. The fire protection shutter automatically closes upon release of a fusible link to prevent fire spread.
The backdraught shutter can be rotated by 90°, enabling the casing to be installed in any orientation for maximum installation flexibility. Electrical connection is simplified via a removable quick plug connector.
A cardboard cover plate is included to protect the unit during installation. The casing measures 262 x 262 mm (W/H), with a total depth of 164 mm including a 69 mm spigot extension. The product holds DIBt approval No. Z‑51.1 – 193, confirming its compliance with relevant fire safety standards.
