The Helios ELS-GAPB is a surface-mounted casing designed for seamless insertion of ELS fan units on walls or ceilings. It features a flat design with a maintenance-free fire protection shutter rated K90 (18017), which automatically shuts off via a fusible link to prevent fire spread.
The metal discharge spigot (DN 80 mm) positioned to the back is equipped with a maintenance-free, airtight backdraught shutter made from durable stainless steel, providing reliable smoke and air flow control. The backdraught shutter meets key requirements similar to cold smoke dampers.
The casing is made from flame-retardant polymer (class B2) in white and allows installation in any orientation thanks to its 90° rotatable design. Electrical connections are simplified with a removable quick plug connector. The unit connects to the main duct line via spiral ductwork.
With compact dimensions of 250 x 250 x 130 mm (W/H/D) and DIBt approval no. Z‑51.1 – 193, the ELS-GAPB offers a safe, practical, and code-compliant solution for fire-protected ventilation installations.
