The Helios ELS‑D 180 is a two-step fire shut-off device specifically developed for horizontal installation in ventilation systems. Its primary function is to stop fire from spreading through ducts between different floors of a building. The device features a compact and space-efficient design, incorporating a ceiling duct made of galvanized sheet steel for enhanced durability.
Each end is equipped with duct connection spigots that comply with DIN 24145/24147 standards, ensuring seamless integration into standard ducting. The unit also includes two flexible fixing clips for easy and secure installation. Classified under fire resistance class K 90 according to DIN 18017 and approved under certificate number Z‑41.3 – 368, the ELS‑D 180 provides dependable fire protection for multi-storey ventilation systems.
