The Helios ELS‑D 160 is a two-step fire shut-off device engineered for horizontal installation in ventilation ducts. It is designed to prevent the vertical spread of fire through duct systems across multiple floors. The unit features a compact, space-efficient housing with an integrated ceiling duct made from durable galvanized sheet steel.
Both ends are fitted with duct connection spigots that comply with DIN 24145/24147 standards, ensuring straightforward integration with standard ductwork. The device includes two bendable fixing clips for secure and simple installation. Certified to fire resistance class K 90 under DIN 18017 and approved under approbation number Z‑41.3 – 368, the ELS‑D 160 offers reliable and regulation-compliant fire safety in residential and commercial ventilation systems.
