The Helios ELS‑D 140 is a two-step fire protection shut-off device designed for horizontal installation in ventilation systems. Its primary function is to block the spread of fire through ductwork between floors. The compact, space-saving housing integrates a ceiling duct constructed from galvanized sheet steel for durability.
Each end of the device features duct connection spigots that meet DIN 24145/24147 standards, ensuring compatibility with standard ducting. The unit includes two flexible fixing clips for secure and easy installation. Classified under fire resistance class K 90 according to DIN 18017 and approved under certification number Z‑41.3 – 368, the ELS‑D 140 is a reliable fire safety component for multi-level ventilation applications.
