The Helios DIF 450 is an aerodynamically designed diffuser intended to improve system efficiency by converting dynamic pressure into static pressure through a gradual expansion of the airflow path. This size transition helps reduce airflow velocity, making it suitable for high pressure recovery. The diffuser also serves as an adapter for transitioning to a larger duct diameter.
It is specifically developed for installation directly after a fan or at the end of a duct run, functioning as an outdoor outlet with minimized discharge losses. For applications with a free outlet, a protective grille (type SG) in the next larger size can be added to enhance safety.
Manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, the DIF 450 offers a durable construction with a double-sided welded flange and a hole pattern conforming to DIN 24155 standards.
