The Helios DIF 400 is an aerodynamically optimized diffuser engineered to support high pressure recovery by reducing airflow speed through a size transition, effectively converting dynamic pressure into static pressure. It also functions as an adapter, enabling a seamless transition to a larger duct size.
This diffuser is ideal for positioning directly after a fan or at the termination of a duct system, where it acts as an outdoor outlet with reduced discharge losses. When used as a free outlet, a protection grille (type SG) in the next larger dimension can be installed for safety.
Built from hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, the DIF 400 features a durable design with a double-sided welded flange and a DIN 24155-compliant hole pattern.
