The Helios AMW 280/4 medium pressure axial fan is constructed with a long cylindrical duct casing made from sheet steel, featuring flanges on both sides with hole patterns according to DIN 24155 Pt.3 for easy installation. The casing houses both the impeller and motor securely.
Equipped with an axial impeller consisting of 14 aerodynamically profiled polymer blades, this fan is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 class 6.3, providing low vibration and smooth operation. It is powered by a totally enclosed AC condenser motor that is maintenance-free and includes built-in thermal contacts for protection. Speed control is possible via voltage reduction, and the motor uses low-noise sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is not reversible.
