The Helios AMD 400÷2÷2 is a high-capacity, dual-speed axial fan engineered for industrial and commercial ducted ventilation systems. With a 400mm diameter galvanized steel cylindrical casing and flanges standardized to DIN 24155 Part 3, it ensures easy integration into various ductwork installations.
This model features a 2‑pole, 3‑phase direct-drive motor with dual-speed functionality, allowing users to adjust airflow based on system demands. The motor delivers high rotational speed for maximum air volume when needed, and quieter operation at lower speeds — offering both power and flexibility. It is also maintenance-free, with sealed-for-life ball bearings, built-in thermal protection, and IP54 ingress protection for reliable operation.
Fitted with a 14-blade aerodynamically optimized polymer impeller, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 (class 6.3), the fan ensures smooth and vibration-free airflow performance. It is also speed-controllable via voltage reduction, enhancing its adaptability across diverse environments.
Designed for air temperatures up to 40°C (controlled) or 60°C (uncontrolled), the AMD 400÷2÷2 is perfect for heavy-duty ventilation needs in factories, warehouses, commercial spaces, and equipment cooling systems.
