The Helios AMD 250/2 is a high-performance medium-pressure axial fan engineered for industrial and commercial ventilation systems requiring powerful airflow and compact design. Its 250mm diameter galvanized steel cylindrical casing is built to DIN 24155 Part 3 standards, with integrated flanges for easy duct connection and secure installation.
At the core of the fan is a high-speed, 2‑pole, direct-drive 3‑phase motor, delivering rapid airflow rates with reliable efficiency. The motor is maintenance-free, featuring sealed-for-life ball bearings and IP54 protection, and includes built-in thermal contacts to guard against overheating during continuous operation.
The unit is fitted with a 14-blade aerodynamically designed polymer impeller, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 (class 6.3), which ensures smooth, low-vibration performance and quiet operation despite the fan’s high speed.
The AMD 250/2 supports speed control via voltage reduction, making it adaptable for a wide range of airflow demands. It is suitable for conveying air temperatures up to 40°C (controlled) or 60°C (uncontrolled), and it is ideal for use in HVAC duct systems, machinery ventilation, and industrial airflow control environments where strong, consistent ventilation is required.
